Operating CFO and transaction advisory. Twenty-five years on the diligence side of the table, five turns in the CFO chair, and a company taken through its own sale.
About Arthur Dembro
Arthur Dembro
I spent the first part of my career in Big Four transaction advisory - Ernst & Young, Grant Thornton, KPMG - running financial due diligence for corporate and private equity acquirers on deals from $30 million to $30 billion.
Then I went and ran companies. I co-founded a regulated fintech and served as its CFO and Chief Compliance Officer through its acquisition by DriveWealth. I have held the CFO seat five times, across fintech, online trading, healthcare and a technology rollup.
That combination is the point. I build finance functions so they survive the scrutiny I used to apply, and I have been the CFO on the receiving end of an integration, which is why I do not hand over a report and leave.
Greenwood Financial Advisory Services
I founded Greenwood Financial Advisory Services, an independent transaction advisory practice serving private equity sponsors and middle-market owners: buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, quality of earnings, post-close integration, and interim CFO engagements.
Outside Work
I have finished 14 Ironman races, including the 2017 World Championship in Kona, and train with Breakthrough Performance Coaching in New York. Beyond that I travel, cook and take photographs, habits picked up on long trips through Europe, Asia, India, Africa and South America.
